Why cooking brings happiness

For Remy, everything starts in the kitchen – as a child he sat on his grandmother’s counter, watching her hands chop, stir and season. In his family, food was never just about getting full; it was care and a quiet ritual.

To him, cooking is a language without words. He finds inspiration at the morning market, cooks to jazz and practises with patience: it took ten attempts at cacio e pepe before the pasta felt right. The real joy begins when others join him at the table.
