Four friends who cook for their families every day. Their book gathers 40 recipes anyone can cook at home – without fear of failing, but with the joy of getting it right.
In most homes it is women who cook every day. In starred kitchens, on the other hand, it is almost only men at the stove. “Les Quatre Couteaux” wants to change that – at home, in one’s own kitchen.
Because cooking is more than feeding people. It means sharing time, creating closeness and bringing warmth into everyday life. The book was made in a house in Burgundy, around a large kitchen table, photographed in December 2025.

“Les Quatre Couteaux – Das Kochbuch der Hausmänner” is a cookbook by Remy Fabrikant, Georgos Stylianou, Adrian Huwyler and David Burst: four friends who cook for their families every day. It contains 40 recipes in six chapters, easy to cook at home.

When and where is the book launch?
On Wednesday, 11 November 2026, at Restaurant LaSalle, Schiffbaustrasse 4, 8005 Zurich. Book launch and apéro from 6 pm, followed by a dinner from our recipes – cooked by Chef Andreas Medewitz and Les Quatre Couteaux.
Can I come for the apéro only?
Yes. The book launch and apéro are on us; the dinner afterwards (CHF 65 per person) is optional. The book can be ordered when registering.
